State budget organization of the Komi republic “Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin” was established by the Komi Republic Government Decree No. 395, dated November 12, 2010 in order to coordinate and integrate activities in the implementation of projects which connected with heritage of the famous sociologist P.A. Sorokin.
The Center was grandly opened on 4th of February, 2011.
