State budget organization of the Komi republic “Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin”.

On December 5-6, Syktyvkar hosted the International Scientific Conference “Pitirim Sorokin and paradigms of global development of the XXI century”, dedicated to the 135th anniversary of the birth of the world-renowned sociologist, a native of Komi krai P. Sorokin.

On December 3, the Center “Nasledie” told the students of the secondary school No.9 about the life and creative work of K. Zhakov.

On November 28, the Center “Nasledie” held classes dedicated to P. Sorokin and K. Zhakov for students of the secondary school No.9.

On November 26, the Center “Nasledie” held classes for fifth graders of the secondary school No.16. The children learned about the heroes of K. Zhakov's fairy tales.

On November 21, the director of the Center “Nasledie” O.Yu. Kuzivanova took part online in the Belarusian-Russian round table “Society of the Future: reality and forecasts in the theoretical heritage of P. Sorokin (on the 135^th anniversary of his birthday), which was held in Minsk.

On November 19, the Center “Nasledie” visited the secondary school no.16 and held a lecture on the topic “The life and creative work of K. Zhakov” for eighth graders.

On November 13, a regular meeting of debating club at the Center “Nasledie” was held on the topic “Belief in astrology, magic, esotericism: does it harm or help?”. The meeting was attended by the teams of the Syktyvkar State University named after P. Sorokin (Institute of History and Law) and the Syktyvkar Forest Institute.

On October 29, the director of the Center “Nasledie” O.Yu. Kuzivanova gave a lecture on National Unity Day as part of the ethnoforum “We are Russians”.

On October 29, the Center “Nasledie” visited the Syktyvkar State University named after Pitirim Sorokin with a lecture “P.A. Sorokin is an outstanding sociologist of the XX century”.

On October 9, the Regional Olympiad for schoolchildren of the Ust-Vymsky district "The life and work of Pitirim Sorokin" (on the 135th anniversary of his birth) was held on the basis of secondary school No. 3 (Zheshart).
