State budget organization of the Komi republic “Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin”.

On February 4, P. Sorokin's birthday, the director of the Center “Nasledie” named after P. Sorokin O.Yu. Kuzivanova took part in a trip to P. Sorokin's small homeland, Turya, the Knyazhpogost district of the Komi Republic.

On February 2, Sorokin readings were held in Syktyvkar, dedicated to the 135th anniversary of the birth of the famous sociologist and our countryman P. Sorokin. The organizer was the Center “Nasledie” named after Pitirim Sorokin.

On January 26, the Center “Nasledie” visited the Gymnasium of Arts under the Head of the Komi Republic and held a quiz game dedicated to the life and work of Pitirim Sorokin for 11th grade students.

From September 4, 2023 to January 16,2024, the Republican contest of research works on the topic “The connection of generations will not be interrupted: who of my fellow countrymen inspires me and why” was held. It was organized by the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin.

On December 12, the Center “Nasledie” visited the Syktyvkar State University named after P. Sorokin with a lecture “P.A. Sorokin is an outstanding sociologist of the XX century”. The listeners were first-year students of the Institute of social technologies.

On December 1, the deputy director of the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin Evgeniya Chipsanova took part in the International Scientific and Practical conference “Documentary Scientific Heritage: traditions of preservation and study”, dedicated to the 70^th anniversary of the Scientific Archive of the FRS Komi Scientific Center of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

On November 23, the Center “Nasledie” held classes for schoolchildren of the secondary school No.9 dedicated to the life and creative work of our famous countrymen – P. Sorokin and K. Zhakov.

On November 16, a regular meeting of the debating club at the Center “Nasledie” was held on the topic “Is the state for a person or a person for the state?”

On November 1, the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin held a quiz for schoolchildren of the secondary school No. 11 dedicated to the life and creative work of K. Zhakov.

On October 23, the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin held a quiz for students of the College of Economics, Law and Information Technologies of the Syktyvkar State University named after Pitirim Sorokin, dedicated to the life and creative work of our famous countrymen – P. Sorokin and K. Zhakov.
