On the 28th of April, 2016, was held a regular meeting of the debating club at the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin. The topic was chosen very relevant: “Cancellation of elections during the economic crisis and sanctions: for or against?”. Students of the Komi republican academy of state service and administration Vladislav Golodov and Alexander Kutilov and students of the Institute of Social Technologies of the Syktyvkar State University after Pitirim Sorokin Yulia Polyakova and Victoria Suntsova found out whether the postponement of the elections would be tolerated in times of strong geopolitical and economic upheavals.
