On the 30th of September, 2016, marked 150th anniversary of the birth of the famous Komi philosopher and writer Kallistrat Falaleevich Zhakov. In 1990 the ashes of K.F. Zhakov were transported from Latvia and reburied in the city cemetery of Syktyvkar. By the 150th anniversary, it was decided to put in order the memorable stele installed on the tomb of K.F. Zhakov. On the 30th of September the staff of the Center “Nasledie” jointly with representatives of the public and state authorities organized the laying of flowers on the grave of K. Zhakov.
