On the 3rd of February, the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin jointly with the Institute of Language, Literature and History, Komi Science Center, Ural Division, Russian Academy of Sciences held the traditional Sorokin Readings (round table) on the topic: «Leaflets from the Russian diary» (on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution of 1917)». In 2017, marks 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution, which was a turning point in Russian history. Pitirim Sorokin, involved in the whirlwind of the two revolutions of 1917, left valuable memories that shed light on many aspects of the epoch-making events of those days.
