On the 7th of September, in Archangelsk at the conference “Strength of the Weak: the power of unity and mutual support of men and women in the world’s cultures” held in Archangelsk, Marina Vasilevna Lomonosova, Candidate of Sociological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of Sociology of the St. Petersburg State University, read an open lecture: “Issues of family, marriage and gender problems at scientific heritage of Pitirim Sorokin: from “Sociology of revolution” (1925) to “American sex revolution” (1956)”.
