The Ethnocultural Forum was held in Kudymkar (Komi-Permyak Okrug, Perm Krai), which brought together delegations from the Komi-Permyak Okrug, the Republic of Komi, the Kirov Oblast, Perm and the Perm Krai. It got acquainted with rich and diverse culture of the Komi and the Komi-Permians. The participants of the large-scale event exchanged experiences and established new contacts.
The director of the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin O.Y. Kuzivanova as part of the delegation from the Komi Republic took part in the Forum and delivered with a lecture “An outstanding sociologist P.A. Sorokin (to the 130th anniversary of his birth)”. The audience learned how the amazing and difficult fate of the scientist was, and the author of what scientific discoveries he was. The director of the Center told the audience how the scientist's creative and scientific heritage is preserved in Russia and in his small homeland, in the Komi Republic.
The Forum also included master classes on traditional crafts, open lectures on the history and culture of related peoples, a literary marathon, exhibitions and an art workshop on ethnofuturizm.
