On April 27, the director and methodists of the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin took part in the Republican Local History Conference “Ukhta – a launching pad in the development of the European North” (to the 90th anniversary of the foundation of Ukhta), held in the Central Library of Ukhta.
The director of the Center “Nasledie” O.Y. Kuzivanova on behalf of the Minister of National Policy of the Republic of Komi G.I. Gabusheva welcomed those present at the plenary session, noting a large number of participants and a rich program of the event.
Also the director of the Center “Nasledie” moderated one of the sections of the conference. Methodists of the Center took part in the conference, presenting reports on the results of the monitoring of the situation in the sphere of interethnic and interconfessional relations in the Komi Republic – a sociological survey conducted by the Center “Nasledie” upon the order of the Ministry of National Policy of the Republic of Komi to determine the general state of interethnic relations in the Komi Republic and the main conflict factors.
