On October 17, the new seventh season of meetings of the debating club at the Center “Nasledie” was opened. The topic of the meeting was, as always, relevant: “The Internet controls youth: is it true or myth?”. The teams of the Institute of Culture and Art of the Syktyvkar State University after Pitirim Sorokin and the Komi republican academy of state service and administration discussed on this topic.
The team of the Institute of Culture and Art of the Syktyvkar State University after Pitirim Sorokin – Ekaterina Yelukova and Svetlana Korotkova defended the position “The Internet controls youth: the truth”.
Opponents were the speakers of the team of the Komi republican academy of state service and administration – Alexander Serebryakov and Anastasia Ilchukova. They insisted that the statement “The Internet controls on youth” is very controversial.
As a result the team of the Komi republican academy of state service and administration won with a score of 85:64.
