On October 28, the methodists of the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin met with the first-year students of the Institute of Humanitarian Sciences of the Syktyvkar State University named after Pitirim Sorokin. In 2015, the university was named after our famous countryman. How exactly Pitirim Sorokin is connected with our republic, the students learned from the lecture on the topic “P.A. Sorokin is an outstanding sociologist of the XXth century”.
