On June 29, the joint meeting of the Center “Nasledie” and International Center for Social Research named after P. Sorokin was held.
The meeting began with the presentation of the book by V.A. Kovalev “Utopia and Dystopia in the works of I.A. Efremov: socio-political aspects. The experience of post-communist criticism”.
In the second part of the meeting, the participants discussed the prospects for preserving and popularizing the scientific heritage of P. Sorokin. They also discussed the ideas of celebrating the 135th anniversary of the outstanding sociologist of the XX century, which will take place in 2024.
