On the 4th of February, the day of the birth of P.A. Sorokin, a landmark event took place in the scientific life of the Komi Republic – the Round Table “Perspectives for studying life and creative work of Pitirim Sorokin”, prepared and conducted by the Center “Nasledie”. Commemorated on the birthday of the great sociologist, the Round Table gathered as well-known scientists who have long studied the heritage of Pitirim Sorokin and local historians, whose work largely depends on the transfer of knowledge about P. Sorokin’s heritage to the younger generation.
