On the 24th of February the staff of the Center “Nasledie” received guests from Ust-Kulom. 20 pupils of the Ust-Kulom school together with their teachers came to get acquainted with the biography of Pitirim Sorokin.
The methodist of the Center “Nasledie” Alexander Kanev told the pupils about the “Long Journey” of Pitirim Sorokin, which began in a small village in the North of Russia. In addition to the presentation in which the Russian period of Pitirim Sorokin’s life was reflected, the children watched the documentary “Antithesis of Pitirim Sorokin”, from which they learned about the formation of Pitirim Alexandrovich as one of the largest sociologists of the XX century.
