On December 10, 2013, the staff of the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin held a Round table on the topic: “Intellectual and cultural heritage in the context of social development”. The Round table was attended by leading scientists, public figures and representatives of public authorities.

On November 21, the methodists of the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin conducted a lecture for pupils of the Technological Lyceum, dedicated to the activities of Pititirm Sorokin in the years of the February and October Revolutions.

On November 14, the methodists of the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin held the second meeting of the debating club. The topic of the debates: «Immigration: the pass to success or conflict?” aroused great interest among students. Students Kanina Zoya and Kozlova Anna spoke in defense of immigration. Their rivals were the students-historians Sergei Soloviev and Bushenev Anton.

On October 28, the methodists of the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin conducted a lecture for pupils of the Technological Lyceum, dedicated to the activities of Pitirim Sorokin in the years of the February and October revolutions.

On October 18, 2013, the Syktyvkar State University and the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin conducted the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Teachers, Scientists, Graduate Students and Students “Integral Sociology of Pitirim Sorokin and Actual Problems of Modernity” dedicated to the 125^th anniversary of the birth of P.A. Sorokin.

On October 14, 2013, the director of the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin O.Y. Kuzivanova made a presentation at the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “Historical and Cultural Heritage of Peoples as a Resource of Forming the Social-Historical Memory of Civil Society (XIV Bader Readings).

On October 7, 2013, the methodists of the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin held the consultation for pupils of the Technological Lyceum.

On October 3, the methodists of the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin held the first meeting of the debating club devoted to a very acute problem – the problem of choosing the international development direction of Russia. Two teams tried to prove that it is better – the western way or the eastern one?

In 2014, it is the 125^th anniversary of the birth of our countrymen, the famous Russian-American sociologist – Pitirim A. Sorokin. The Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin announces the beginning of a series of mini-lectures for schoolchildren (9-11 grades), devoted to the biography and scientific views of the outstanding scientist.

On July 5, the staff of the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin visited Turya. They visited the Local History Museum after Pitirim Sorokin and memorable stele.
