State budget organization of the Komi republic “Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin”.

On the 29^th of January the methodists of the Center “Nasledie” visited the school № 35 with lectures on the childhood and student years of Pitirim Sorokin and his life in emigration.

On the 27^th of January the participants of the Republican contest of research works on the topic “War and revolution in the assessments of Pitirim Sorokin” were awarded within the closing the Republican scientific and practical conference “Young researchers to the Republic of Komi”.

From October 1,2014 to January 20, 2015, the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin in the framework of the scientific and practical conference “Young researchers to the Republic of Komi” conducted the absentee Republican contest of research works on the topic “War and revolution in the assessments of Pitirim Sorokin” among students of the educational institutions of the Komi Republic.

On the 4^th of February, 2015 the researcher from the University of Nagasaki (Japan) Josino Kodzi visited the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin. The scientist is interested in the early works of P. Sorokin, dedicated to the Komi region and written by him in the period from 1910 to 1914.

The acceptance of works for the contest of research works on the topic: “War and revolution in the assessments of Pitirim Sorokin” is finished.

The Director of the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin Kuzivanova O.Y. spoke at the opening of the audience named after Pitirim Sorokin in the Ukhta State Technical University, which was held on December 25.

On December 19, the methodists of the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin visited the secondary school № 9 (Krasnozatonsky), where they conducted two lectures for two tenth classes devoted to the theory of social mobility of Pitirim Sorokin.

On December 18, at the secondary school № 16 in Syktyvkar, the methodists of the Center “Nasledie” held two lectures for the 10^th and 11^th classes, telling the children about the attitude of the great thinker to such phenomena as war and revolution.

On December 11, in the conference hall of the Finno-Ugric Cultural Center of the Russian Federation, a regular meeting of the debating club at the Center “Nasledie” was held, dedicated to the prospects of youth in the Komi Republic. Students of the Syktyvkar State University - Yuschenko Marina and Kanyukova Vladislava defended the view that there are not enough prospects for young people in the Komi Republic. Their opponents – students of the Komi republican academy of state service and administration – Kutz Vladislav and Gerasimova Anastasia, argued that the republic has a large number of opportunities for self-realization in any field.
