State budget organization of the Komi republic “Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin”.

On the 17^th of April, the methodists of the Center “Nasledie” again visited Gymnasium № 1 with a lecture on the topic: “From war to peace: the contribution of the Sorokin’s family to the victory over fascism”.

The regular meeting of the debating club at the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin took place on the 16^th of April, 2015. Together with the Election Commission of the Republic of Komi, has been chosen the topic, relevant on the eve of the elections: “To elect: right or obligation?”

On the 15^th of April, 2015, the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin together with the Institute of Humanitarian Sciences of the Syktyvkar State University after Pitirim Sorokin held the Republican Olympiad among schoolchildren of senior classes and students of junior courses “Life and creative work of P.A. Sorokin”. 57 students from 9 educational institutions took part in the Olympiad.

On the 14^th of April, the methodists of the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin were invited to Gymnasium № 1 for conducting lectures on the topic: “From war to peace: the contribution of the Sorokin’s family to the victory over fascism”.

The regular meeting of the debating club at the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin was on the 13^th of March, 2015. Traditionally, for the debate, an actual topic was chosen, which one way or another affects each of us.

State Budget Organization of the Republic of Komi “Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin” and the Institute of the Humanitarian Sciences of the Syktyvkar State University announce the holding of the Republican Olympiad “Life and creative work of P.A. Sorokin”.

On the 24^th of February the staff of the Center “Nasledie” received guests from Ust-Kulom. 20 pupils of the Ust-Kulom school together with their teachers came to get acquainted with the biography of Pitirim Sorokin.

The researcher from St. Petersburg Marina Lomonosova made the important discovery in the study of the heritage of Pitirim Sorokin. Up to this moment, the earliest works of the world-famous sociologist date back to 1910. Pitirim Sorokin’s article “Something about modern fiction”, which he published in 1907 in the journal “Ogonki”, was found.

On the 18^th of February, at the school № 9 (Krasnozatonsky), the methodists of the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin conducted two lectures in which they told the eleventh classes about Pitirim Sorokin’s attitude towards war and revolution.

The regular issue of the journal “Nasledie” was released, in which the latest research of the heritage of Pitirim Sorokin were published, as well as the works of the participants of the International Scientific Conference “Pitirim Sorokin and paradigms of the global development of the XXIth century”.
