State budget organization of the Komi republic “Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin”.

On the 12^th of June the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin took part in the city celebration of the Spasskaya-Sovetskaya Street, opening its doors to the citizens.

A regular meeting of the debating club at the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin took place on the 20^th of April, 2017. The participants of discussion were students of the Syktyvkar State University after Pitirim Sorokin and students of the Komi republican academy of state service and administration. The topic of debate - are elections possible without “black PR”? - has been relevant for many years and is actively discussed both at the domestic level and in the media.

In February and March 2017, the methodist of the Center “Nasledie” Alexander Kanev conducted 11 lectures for pupils of 9-11 grades of school № 38, school № 22 (Ezhva) and Technological Lyceum.

The Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin announces the release of the regular issue of the journal “Nasledie” №2 (9) 2016.

On the 13th of April, Sergei Pitirimovich Sorokin turned 84 years old.

On the 5^th of April, 2017, in the Museum of history and culture (Syktyvdinsky district) was held a grand opening of a new temporary exhibition “From war to peace: The Sorokin family’s contribution to the Victory over Fascism” provided by the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin.

On the 29^th of March, the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin together with the Institute of Humanitarian Sciences of the Syktyvkar State University after Pitirim Sorokin held the annual Olympiad for high school students and students of junior courses.
