On February 15, the methodists of the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin visited “Gymnasium no. 1” and held four lectures for schoolchildren.

On February 12, the methodists of the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin visited the secondary school no.11 in Syktyvkar with lectures on the life and creative work of the famous ethnographer and writer Kallistrat Zhakov.

On February 5, the Sorokin Readings took place in Syktyvkar, traditionally devoted to the birthday of the famous sociologist and our fellow countryman Pitirim Sorokin.

February 4 marks 132 years since the birth of the famous scientist of Russia and the USA, one of the outstanding sociologists of the XXth century, a native of the Komi region Pitirim Sorokin.

On February 3, the Presidential Library will present a video lecture about the outstanding sociologist and culturologist of the XXth century, a native of the Komi region Pitirim Sorokin.

As part of this event, the Center “Nasledie” held the Republican contest of research works on the topic “Outstanding countrymen of the Komi region: a life path and achievements”.

The Center “Nasledie” presents to your attention a list of registered applications for participation in the absentee Republican contest of research works on the topic: "Outstanding countrymen of the Komi region: a life path and achievements".

On December 2, the methodists of the Center “Nasledie” visited the secondary school no.9 (Krasnozatonsky) with a lecture “Biography of Pitirim Sorokin: childhood and student years”.
