State budget organization of the Komi republic “Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin”.

On October 28, continuing the lecture hall “The public holiday is National Unity Day”, held within the framework of the ethnoforum “We are Russians”, Evgeniya Chipsanova, Deputy Director of the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin, delivered a lecture about P.A. Sorokin, an outstanding sociologist of the XXth century.

On October 27, the Center “Nasledie” visited the secondary school no. 1, in which ninth-graders examined in more detail the creative work of the scientist P. Sorokin – his theory of social mobility.

On October 22, methodists of the Center “Nasledie” visited the secondary school no. 9 (Krasnozatonsky) and held three lectures for students on the topics: “Biography of Pitirim Sorokin: childhood and student years” and “Pitirim Sorokin about war and revolution”.

On October 21, 2021, the regular meeting of the debating club at the Center “Nasledie” took place. The topic of the meeting was “Comfort is the main value for modern youth: yes, or no?”

On October 20, the methodists of the Center “Nasledie” continued the cycle of lectures on the life and creative work of Pitirim Sorokin for schoolchildren of the secondary school no. 1.

On October 7, the International Conference “The Relevance of Pitirim A. Sorokin in the 21st century. From Crisis to the Rebirth of Humanity” took place in Narni (Italy).

On October 1, the Center “Nasledie” visited the secondary school no. 1. This time we conducted a lecture for nine-graders about childhood and student years of Pititirm Sorokin.

On September 29, the Center “Nasledie” again visited the secondary school no. 1 of Syktyvkar. At the lecture, ninth-graders learned about an important period of the life of the scientist – the Revolution of 1917.

On September 22, we visited the secondary school no.1 (Syktyvkar) and held a lecture for ninth-graders about the childhood and student years of the famous sociologist, a native of Komi krai Pitirim A. Sorokin.
