State budget organization of the Komi republic “Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin”.

February 4 marks the 133^rd anniversary of the birth of our countryman, the outstanding Russian and American        sociologist of the XX century Pitirim A. Sorokin.

The Center “Nasledie” is pleased to announce the publication of the tenth anniversary volume of the Collected works of the famous Russian-American sociologist Pitirim Sorokin – “The system of sociology”.

On January 21, the methodist of the Center “Nasledie” E. Maiorova held a lecture on the topic “The fabulous Biarmiya of K. Zhakov” for nine graders of the secondary school no.30.

On January 14, the methodist of the Center “Nasledie” visited the secondary school no. 30 with a lecture dedicated to the life and creative work of our famous countryman, ethnographer, writer K. Zhakov.

On December 22, the methodist of the Center “Nasledie” Alina Amosova held a quiz on the topic “The life and creative work of P. Sorokin and K. Zhakov” for pupils of the 9^th grade of the secondary school no.1.

On December 15, pupils of the 9^th grade of the secondary school no.1 continued their acquaintance with the creative work of the famous writer and ethnographer Kallistrat Zhakov.

On December 3, the Center “Nasledie” held a quiz on the topic “The life and creative work of P. Sorokin and K. Zhakov” at the Lyceum for gifted children.

On December 2, a regular meeting of the debating club at the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin took place.

On November 24, the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin visited the secondary school no.1 in Syktyvkar with a lecture dedicated to the life and creative work of the famous ethnographer and writer Kallistrat Zhakov.

On November 19, within the framework of the Republican youth patriotic action “Severnyj desant”, the Center “Nasledie” held a quiz on the topic “The life and creative work of P. Sorokin and K. Zhakov” for pupils of grades 7-8 of Chernutyevskaya secondary school of the Udorsky District.
