State budget organization of the Komi republic “Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin”.

On November 15, the Center “Nasledie” visited the secondary school no. 9 and held six lectures, where they told students of the fifth, sixth, and seventh grades about some of the heroes of fairy tales of the famous countryman, writer K. Zhakov.

On November 11, the leading methodist of the Center “Nasledie” Ekaterina Maiorova visited the secondary school no.1 again. The ninth graders continued their acquaintance with Pitirim Sorokin – this time they studied one of the most famous theories – the theory of social mobility.

On November 10, the methodist of the Center “Nasledie” Alina Amosova held a lecture for the 9th grade of the secondary school no. 1 about the life and creative work of the famous ethnographer and writer K. Zhakov.

On October 27-28, the annual republican ethnoforum “We are Russians” was held, timed to the National Unity Day. The Center “Nasledie” took an active part in the event.

On October 28, the methodist of the Center “Nasledie” Ekaterina Maiorova continued a series of lectures on the life and creative work of Pitirim Sorokin for nine-graders of the secondary school no. 1. This time, the students were told about how the life of an outstanding scientist developed during the period of emigration.

On October 21, the Center “Nasledie” continued a series of lectures on the fate of the famous sociologist Pitirim Sorokin in the secondary school no.1. This time, deputy director Evgeniya Chipsanova revealed to the students the topic: “Biography of Pitirim Sorokin: revolution”.

On October 20, the first meeting of the debating club took place this academic year. The participants of which were students of the Humanitarian Institute of the Syktyvkar State University named after Pitirim Sorokin and the Komi republican academy of state service and administration. The topic of the meeting was chosen as always relevant and interesting “Does a leader create a history or does history put forward a leader? (to the 350^th anniversary of the birth of Peter I)”.

On October 17 the Center “Nasledie” visited the secondary school no.9 and held four lectures for high school students on the topics: “Biography of Pitirim Sorokin: childhood and student years” and “Biography of Pitirim Sorokin: revolution”.

On October 14, the methodist of the Center “Nasledie” Alina Amosova visited the secondary school no. 1 with a lecture dedicated to the biography of the famous sociologist, our countryman Pitirim Sorokin.

2022 marks the 100^th anniversary of the expulsion scientists and cultural figures from Soviet Russia. This event received the collective name “Philosophers' ship”.
