State budget organization of the Komi republic “Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin”.

On January 25, the Gymnasium named after A.S. Pushkin again invited the methodists of the Center “Nasledie”. The pupils of the 11^th grade got acquainted with the biography of Pititirm Sorokin and his childhood, and the pupils of 9^th grade studied in more detail the creative work of the scientist – his theory of social mobility.

On January 24, the Center “Nasledie” continued a series of lectures on the biography of Pitirim Sorokin at the Komi National Gymnasium. The pupils of the 10th grade got acquainted with the little-known pages of the biography of the famous sociologist and his family during the Second World War.

On January 23 (February 4), was born the famous sociologist, Pitirim Sorokin. This event was timed to the meeting of the methodists of the Center “Nasledie” and pupils of the 10^th grade of the secondary school No. 12 of Syktyvkar.

On January 23, the methodists of the Center “Nasledie” visited two educational institutions with lectures on the life and creative work of Pitirim Sorokin: pupils of the 10^th grade of the Komi National Gymnasium listened a lecture on the biography of Pitirim Sorokin, and pupils of the 9^th grade of Gymnasium named after A.S. Pushkin discussed one of the most famous theories of the scientist – the theory of social mobility.

On January 18, the Center “Nasledie” continued to acquaint pupils of the Gymnasium named after A.S. Pushkin with the biography of the famous sociologist Pitirim A. Sorokin. The pupils of the 9^th grade listened to a lecture on the topic: “Biography of Pitirim Sorokin: childhood and student years”.

On January 16, the methodist of the Center “Nasledie” Evgenia Chipsanova visited the Gymnasium named after A.S. Pushkin and held a lecture for pupils of 9^th grade on the topic: “Biography of P. Sorokin: childhood and student years”.

From September 17, 2018 to January 15, 2019 the Republican contest of research works was held. It was dedicated to the upcoming 130th anniversary of the birth of P. Sorokin. The organizer of the contest was traditionally the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin. Within the framework of the stated theme: “Komi region in the fate and works of Pitirim Sorokin”, the participants of the contest for several months studied the influence of the small homeland on the life and work of our countryman.

The Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin presents to your attention a list of registered applications for participation in the absentee Republican contest of research works on the topic “Komi region in the fate and works of Pitirim Sorokin” (to the 130th anniversary of his birth).

On December 11, the methodists of the Center “Nasledie” again visited the Syktyvkar Humanitarian Pedagogical College named after I.A. Kuratov and read two lectures on the topics: “Biography of Pitirim Sorokin: childhood and student years” and “Biography of Pitirim Sorokin: social mobility” for the first-year students.
