The next meeting of the debating club at the Center Nasledie after Pititirm Sorokin was held on October 15, 2020.

On October 9, on the basis of the secondary school (Vizinga), the Regional Olympiad for schoolchildren of the Sysolsky district “The life and creative work of Pititirm Sorokin (to the 75^th anniversary of the Victory Day) was held.

We are pleased to announce the publication of the regular issue of the journal “Nasledie” no.1 (16), 2020. The issue presents articles by scientists from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Syktyvkar, Fisciano (Italy).

The Center “Nasledie” announces the holding of the absentee Republican contest of research works on the topic: “Outstanding countrymen of the Komi region: a life path and achievements”.

The staff of the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin, commissioned by the Ministry of National Policy of the Republic of Komi, carried out a sociological survey within the framework of monitoring the situation in the sphere of interethnic and interconfessional relations in the region. Based on the data of the sociological survey conducted in all municipalities of the republic, the main conflict factors and the general state of interethnic relations are described.

The results are published in the brochure “Monitoring the situation in the sphere of interethnic and interconfessional relations, identifying risks and perceived conflicts in the Komi Republic for 2019”.

V.M. Terebikhin, a candidate of philosophical sciences, an expert of the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin prepared a material dedicated to the International Day for Protection of Children.

In Syktyvkar, the fourth book was published in the series about outstanding people of the Komi region “The Komi Republic: people and time”. Its author was the doctor of philosophical sciences of the Syktyvkar State University named after Pitirim Sorokin N.F. Zyuzev, the researcher of the life and scientific heritage of Pitirim Sorokin and the author of monographs, articles and translations, devoted to the creative work of our famous countryman.

The Center «Nasledie» named after Pitirim Sorokin published the next eighth volume from the Collected works by Pitirim Sorokin «Works: 1919-1923».
