State budget organization of the Komi republic “Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin”.

On September 28, on the eve of the birthday of the famous ethnographer and writer K. Zhakov, the methodist of the Center “Nasledie” Amosova Alina held two quizzes for students of the Syktyvkar State University named after P. Sorokin dedicated to his life and creative work, as well as the biography and scientific heritage of another of our fellow countryman – P. Sorokin.

We are pleased to announce the release of the next issue of the journal “Nasledie” no.1(22), 2023. The issue presents articles by scientists from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Syktyvkar, Izhevsk, Ulan-Ude, Novosibirsk. The journal has collected articles by authors devoted to socio-cultural dynamics, the history of sociology, socio-cultural and political practices, etc.

On September 27, the methodist of the Center “Nasledie” Alina Amosova told students of the ninth grade of the secondary school no.43 about the life and creative work of the first Komi poet.

On September 21, the Center “Nasledie” held a quiz for the 1^st year students of the Institute of History and Law of the Syktyvkar State University named after P. Sorokin, dedicated to the life and creative work of P. Sorokin and K. Zhakov.

On September 20, the methodist of the Center “Nasledie” Alina Amosova visited the secondary school again No. 43 with a lecture about the life and creative work of I.A. Kuratov for 8th grade students.

On September 19, the methodist of the Center “Nasledie” Alina Amosova visited the secondary school No.43 and held a lecture for ninth grade students on the topic: “Ivan Kuratov: the life and creative work”.

On September 15, the methodist of the Center “Nasledie” Alina Amosova held a quiz game “The life and creative work of P. Sorokin and K. Zhakov” for 2^nd year students of the Institute of History and Law of Syktyvkar State University named after P. Sorokin.

The Center “Nasledie” announces the holding of the correspondence Republican contest of research works on the topic: “The connection of generations will not be interrupted: who of my fellow countrymen inspires me and why”.

Vernon Press (USA) has published a book by Emiliana Mangone, an Associate Professor of Sociology of Culture and Communication at the Department of Political and Communication Sciences, University of Salerno (Italy) «Pitirim A. On June 29, the joint meeting of the Center “Nasledie” and International Center for Social Research named after P. Sorokin was held.
