State budget organization of the Komi republic “Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin”.

On March 23, a regular meeting of the debating club at the Center “Nasledie” named after Pitirim Sorokin took place. The topic of the meeting was as follows “Is a person's talent a guarantee of success in life?”.

On March 21, the Center “Nasledie” held a lecture for students of the Syktyvkar Polytechnic College “Fabulous “Biarmiya” of K. Zhakov” and a quiz “The life and creative work of P. Sorokin and K. Zhakov”.

We are pleased to announce the release of the next issue of the journal “Nasledie” no.2(21), 2022. The issue presents articles by scientists from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Syktyvkar, Izhevsk, Novosibirsk.

On February 9, the deputy director of the Center “Nasledie” E. Chipsanova visited the secondary school no.3 again. Students of the eighth and ninth graders got acquainted with a lecture about the childhood and student years of sociologist, scientist, professor P. Sorokin.

On February 7, the deputy director of the Center “Nasledie” E. Chipsanova continued a course of lectures for schoolchildren of the secondary school no.3. Sixth grade students got acquainted with the lecture “Heroes of fairy tales by K. Zhakov”. Seventh grade students learned about the childhood of P. Sorokin in the Komi krai.

On February 6, the deputy director of the Center “Nasledie” E. Chipsanova held lectures in the secondary for fifth grade students in the secondary school no.3, telling about the heroes of fairy tales of our countryman K. Zhakov.

On February 3, Sorokin Readings, traditionally timed to the birthday of the famous sociologist and our countryman Pitirim Sorokin, were held in Syktyvkar. The organizer was the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin. The topic was “Society, culture and personality (to the first edition in Russian of the work of the same name by P.A. Sorokin).

On January 30, a leading methodist of the Center “Nasledie” E. Maiorova held lectures about the life and creative work of K. Zhakov for 1^st and 2^nd year students of the Syktyvkar College of Commerce and Economics, and also told them about the author's famous poem – the fabulous “Biarmiya”.

From September 14, 2022 to January 12, 2023, the Republican contest of research works was held, organized by the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin. Schoolchildren and students discussed on the topic: “The importance of nature in the life of a Komi person (on the example of the creative work of P. Sorokin, K. Zhakov and other writers)”.
