State budget organization of the Komi republic “Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin”.

From September 17, 2018 to January 15, 2019 the Republican contest of research works was held. It was dedicated to the upcoming 130th anniversary of the birth of P. Sorokin. The organizer of the contest was traditionally the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin. Within the framework of the stated theme: “Komi region in the fate and works of Pitirim Sorokin”, the participants of the contest for several months studied the influence of the small homeland on the life and work of our countryman.

The Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin presents to your attention a list of registered applications for participation in the absentee Republican contest of research works on the topic “Komi region in the fate and works of Pitirim Sorokin” (to the 130th anniversary of his birth).

On December 11, the methodists of the Center “Nasledie” again visited the Syktyvkar Humanitarian Pedagogical College named after I.A. Kuratov and read two lectures on the topics: “Biography of Pitirim Sorokin: childhood and student years” and “Biography of Pitirim Sorokin: social mobility” for the first-year students.

On December 10, 2018 the methodists of the Center “Nasledie” visited the school № 9 (Krasnozatonsky) and conducted four lectures for two 11^th grades on the topics: “Biography of Pitirim Sorokin: childhood and student years” and “Pitirim Sorokin about war and revolution”.

On November 30, the methodists of the Center “Nasledie” met with the first-year students of the Syktyvkar Humanitarian Pedagogical College named after I.A. Kuratov and talked with them about the childhood of Pitirim Sorokin in the Komi region and the famous theory of the sociologist – the theory of the social mobility.

On November 29, 2018, a regular meeting at the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin took place. The students of the Syktyvkar State University after Pitirim Sorokin and the Syktyvkar Forest Institute discussed on an international topic “Will the migration crisis lead to a split of the European Union?”

On the November 21, the first-year students of the Syktyvkar Humanitarian Pedagogical College named after I.A. Kuratov listened to two lectures on the biography and scientific work of our famous countryman, Pitirim Alexandrovich Sorokin.

On November 21, the methodists of the Center “Nasledie” met with the second-year students (correspondence course) of the Syktyvkar Humanitarian-Pedagogical College named after I.A. Kuratov and talked with them about the childhood of the sociologist Pitirim Sorokin and about one of the most important theories, the theory of social mobility.

On November 15, the director of the Center “Nasledie” after Pitirim Sorokin O.Y. Kuzivanova took part in the “Literary Evening” organized by the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Komi to the President of the Russian Federation and the Komi Community in Moscow.
